Fishing and  Hunting

click for largeThe mainly slow moving Dease River is a famous stream for anglers. With the flying rod, by canoe or if you come with your own vessel - preferable jet propelled - this river offers a great abundance of northern fish species like Arctic Grayling, Lake Trouts, Dolly Varden, Northern Pike and Fresh Water Burbot.click for large

As hunting season starts middle of August we keep open September and October to offer hunters all amenities after a rough day in the bush.

Hiking and Wildlife

click for largeThe Cassiar Mountains look untouchable but still old mining trails and roads can be used to visit the hinterland. But you have to be well prepared, this is no National Park with Warden looking after you. For the short time hiker we have blazed a 3 hours trail up the mountain, you will be rewarded with a great view over the Cassiar Mountains.

And you have good chances to spot wildlife - this is wildlife country! Thousends of square miles wilderness  and just a few communities and one road only within. Moose, Cariboo, Mountain sheep and goats, Wolves and literally everywhere - Blackbear and Grizzly are the true inhibitants of this wild and remote land.
